CUBA UNDER SIEGE: Washington’s War, Collective Resistance, International Solidarity is the name of a discussion held at the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Winnipeg, Canada on November 6, 2026. Organized by the Manitoba-Cuba Solidarity Committee, it featured Leima Martinez Freire, the Director of the North America Bureau of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP). We also heard from Diane Zack, coordinator of the Manitoba-Cuba Solidarity Committee, Cam Scott of the Canadian Network on Cuba and Owen Schalk of University of Manitoba Students for Cuba.
